Tatukittea of Calibre tattoo
Operating on an appointment only basis - I bring a bright, welcoming, clean, friendly, non-judgemental and relaxing private studio to my clients who are otherwise intimidated by the conventional tattoo shop!
As I know getting tattooed is sometimes stressful, I offer Spotify and Netflix for the pleasure and comfort of my clients.
Born and raised Calgarian and natural born artist. I began drawing at the age of 9, however, I never thought that my artistry could ever pave me a future career. It was by chance that I was offered an apprenticeship by Calgary's Kyle Kirkland. I wasn't able to apply myself completely because of current commitments at the time, I also still was unsure of whether I wanted to pursue tattooing. My heart wasn't in it, and it took a traumatic injury to my hand (that took 4-5 months to heal) for me to open my eyes. The ordeal made me realize to take advantage of my talent.
I was never keen on the traditional tattoo parlour setting and preferred a more private environment so I decided to embark on my biggest venture of opening my own private studio! Hence the birth of Calibre Tattoo.
My ideal projects are mainly black and grey but I love to dabble with colour as well. I prefer floral, ornamental, sparkling unique pieces that form with the natural curvature of the body, further enhancing/complimenting a desired body part.
My style is bold, high contrast and bright mixed hints of fine, delicate details that help balance the piece. I find this aids in a well rounded piece that is pleasing to the eye.
Don't think that my abilities are limited to the above however, I'm a confident chameleon that can adapt to most styles that are thrown at me. Confident although humble, as a professional, I know my limits and will send you to the proper artist if need be!
I offer custom pieces tailored to my clients needs, with my creative, versatile, and adaptive capabilities; I can promise that I can conjure a great tattoo design for you that both you and I will be happy with!
